After signing a record-setting contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, Shaq's individual talents are not enough to help the franchise reclaim its past glory. But in 1999, the arrival of legendary coach Phil Jackson elevates the team and his star centre to new heights.
S1 E3: The Fall
Powered by the duo of Shaq and Kobe Bryant, the Lakers cement themselves as the league's dominant force by winning three consecutive NBA titles. But tension between the two stars threatens to derail the dynasty and forces the team to make decisions on each man's future.
S1 E4: From Shaq To Shaquille
Traded from the Lakers to the Miami Heat, Shaq teams up with rising young star Dwyane Wade to bring the franchise its first NBA championship. But as the end of his athletic career looms, Shaq reflects on past relationships while looking ahead to his future.
