After a string of misfortunes, divorced high-school basketball coach Ray Drecker looks to change his fortunes by cashing in on his exceptional physical endowment.

In an effort to market Ray as a high-end "happiness consultant", Tanya seeks out a former colleague named Lenore, who agrees to take Ray for a test ride. Meanwhile, Jessica's obsessive behaviour grates on her kids, who push Ray to fix his house.

Ray's fortunes sink further when his nosy neighbour, Howard Koontz, accuses him of public indecency. Meanwhile, Ray and Tanya's frayed partnership seems to be dead in the water... until a last-minute proposal resurrects their dreams.

West Lakefield students choose "Coach Ray" to be the recipient of their fall fundraising efforts. Meanwhile, Tanya gets a couple of leads that could jump-start Ray's gigolo career, and Damon overreacts while defending Darby's honour.

Ray is frustrated when an unsatisfied client asks for a do-over of her "damsel in distress" fantasy. Meanwhile, with times tight for Ronnie and Jessica, Ray hopes to one-up his ex by promising to buy a car for the twins, and Tanya goes on a pity date with Floyd.

Whilst Tanya chastises Jemma for setting up dates directly with Ray, Jessica confronts Ronnie about money. Later, after Jemma prompts Ray to open up about himself, he gives his basketball team an inspiring pep talk.

Ray confronts his growing feelings for Jemma, and then runs into Jessica, who invites him to a family dinner. Meanwhile, Tanya meets a hipster who sets out to help her writer's block.

Ray turns to Tanya for advice, and attends a family barbeque at his ex's. Meanwhile, Tanya finds her new boyfriend Pierce to be a man of mystery, and Lenore gives Tanya some unwanted feedback on her marketing strategy.

Tanya is dismayed when a "satisfied" customer says she won't be using Ray's services again. Later, she pitches Happiness Consultants to other women in her office, with decidedly mixed results. Meanwhile, Damon's androgynous new friend leaves Ray baffled.

Tanya battles Lenore for control of Ray. Ronnie flirts with an old flame at work and an unfulfilled Jessica decides her battery needs a jump start. Meanwhile, Ray finds a sweet surprise at home, courtesy of his bees and his frisky neighbour.

Ray's new co-partnership with Tanya and Lenore gets off to a rocky start. Jessica is hurt by criticism from Darby and Damon whilst Tanya ventures into a tough neighbourhood for pimping advice.

Ray risks losing a client by giving Claire marriage advice; Tanya tries to prove that she can land a big fish for Ray; Ray pays for the school baseball team's transportation to away games; Jessica embarrasses Darby.

After receiving criticism from Damon and Darby, Ray tries to prove he's not an insensitive ex-jock. Tanya is infuriated by the demands of her new boss at work and Jessica feels the pressure of the economic downturn.

Ray gives Lenore an ultimatum and talks to Tanya about cutting ties with her. He's concerned when Damon defiles the school baseball diamond and later has to think on his feet when he runs into Mike in a hotel lobby.

Tanya finally gets Frances to agree to meet with Ray. Damon has an emergency at his poetry slam which requires Ray's attention and Jessica is upset with Ronnie when he questions her desire to have a baby.

Jessica turns to Ray when she spots a rodent at her house and everyone doubts what she saw. When Ray refuses to allow Tanya to add Mike to their business, Tanya turns to Charlie for advice on how to manage her guilt.

Tanya struggles to tell Ray she's spent all the money Francis paid her to spend time with Mike. Lenore finds Francis is no longer her client whilst Ray finds himself caught between Yael and the Middle Eastern Samara.

Ray agrees to participate in a student-alumni baseball game when an opposing team steals the team's equipment & vandalises the locker room. Meanwhile, Jessica's old rash resurfaces, giving Ronnie cause to confront Ray.

Ray's day gets worse when Mike accuses Ray of betrayal. Ronnie publicly vents his frustrations with Jessica when he receives an award at a dermatology banquet and Tanya lashes out at Ray, Lenore and Horny Patty.

Ray considers a break from the business when he thinks he might get a second chance with Jessica. Tanya tries to smooth things over with Frances whilst Ronnie learns Jessica has made a decision about the two of them.

In the third-season opener, Ray and Tanya get creative to find financing when they hatch an idea to relaunch a proven product. Lenore stumbles upon a resource that may catch her former business partners off guard.

Ray meets his new rival after he sweeps one of Ray's regulars off her feet but Tanya doesn't take the news of stolen clients well. Meanwhile, Jessica decides to go it alone and Charlie reaches out to a protege for help.

Ray worries that his cover might be blown when he confuses one of his former students with a client. Tanya finds herself taking care of a convicted felon and Jess takes a job working at Dr. Matt Kopylov's office.

Ray and Tanya try to get rid of a problematic client but Charlie advises them to keep Lydia happy because she's a cop. Lenore tries to satisfy Sandee's increasing demands whilst Jessica finds a kindred spirit in Matt.

Lydia gives Ray and Tanya an unforgettable experience after Ray announces he's leaving the business. Darby threatens to leave home and Jason draws Lenore's wrath after he misses a date with a client.

When his shoebox of cash goes missing, Ray goes after the prime suspect, Lenore. His investigation however lands him a brand new client named Kyla. Meanwhile, Sandee offers Tanya the opportunity to expand her business.

After one night together, Ray discovers Kyla may not be the woman he thought she was. Jason's debut at the Wellness Centre spurs a competition and Charlie helps Tanya ask Jason and Sandee about Ray's missing money.

Tanya calls on the mother of Charlie's baby to help find him after he skips bail. Lenore makes it her mission to destroy the Wellness Centre and Ray faces concerns about his ability to satisfy women.

Tanya is upset when she learns she hasn't been invited to Frances and Mike's wedding. Ray reclaims his clients after he breaks Jason's nose, and Tanya gets to know Charlie's sons who were left in her care.

With the future of the Wellness Centre in jeopardy, Ray and Tanya try to track down Charlie in search of their $40,000. Matt accuses Jessica of tampering with urine samples at his office and Lenore's big plan backfires.
