Kelly learns that Chuck is getting closer to her dad, so she and Hannah cook a lie-detector mint. They intercept Scott and Chuck at the new restaurant in town, Saphron, and give him the mint. It allows Scott to see through Chuck's attempt to bond.

Kelly, Hannah, and Darbie discover that not only does Chuck have his own cookbook, but he is stealing recipes from their book. If there's any chance to keep the magic from him they must find a way to get back into the trailer and steal the book.

Chuck knows the girls have taken his book, so he gives them, Grandma, Silvers and Mama P a sleep spell. Now, all six of them must stay awake long enough to cook a counter-spell together.

In seaaon two we see Kelly, Hannah, and Darbie freeing the town of Mama P's curse and also breaking Grandma Quinn, and Ms. Silvers' curse, enabling grandma to talk again and Ms. Silvers to play piano in public. Along with this, they realize that they broke every curse.

With Chuck gone, life can go back to normal. However, when the magical cookbook goes missing from Kelly's backpack, the girls cook a tracking spell to find it again, but they are worried it might have left them forever.

When Kelly, Hannah, and Darbie create a spell that causes you to give up what you most want to get RJ to give back the cookbook. However, they inadvertently learn that sometimes, by giving up what you want, you get what you need.

In order to learn more about RJ and find the other former protectors, the three girls do some investigating using a spell that speeds up time.

Kelly, Hannah, and Darbie try a spell on Mama P to help her remember the magic, but it backfires and they take away her personality, which then passes from person to person as the whole town starts to act like Mama P.

In order to protect themselves, the trio cooks a spell to help them remember magic forever. The downside is that they forget their friendship and ever meeting.

Ms. Silvers is one of the last people in town who remembers magic. In an attempt to protect her, Kelly, Darbie and Hannah make a spell cloning her so that no one knows where the real Ms. Silvers is. Their spell works too well, creating three clones.

Kelly, Hannah, and Darbie cook a spell to protect anyone from entering Kelly's house, but they accidentally trap themselves inside with Terri, Jill, and Mr. Morris -- anyone could be a suspect.

After Mr. Morris reveals that he was not a former Protector, the three girls learn the history of who owned the magical cookbook before them. However, the third protector has been missing since high school.
