OSN is the only entertainment network in the region to bring the highly anticipated series to home screens in the Middle East. At a pace of one episode per week, over a period of two months, fans are set to be entertained with more suspense, more cuteness and more of the Force-wielding 50-year-old toddler in Season 2. Following a critically acclaimed first season, that is already available on OSN, the stakes are a little higher in this subsequent chapter.
Picking up where the first season left off, The Mandalorian Season 2 follows The Mandalorian and the Child as they continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire. Pedro Pascal continues in the title role, with co-stars Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. The season’s directors include creator Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed (of Ant-Man fame) and Robert Rodriguez (Desperado, From Dusk till Dawn).
Rolla Karam, Interim Chief Content Officer at OSN said,
“After the resounding success of its first season, we can’t wait to launch The Mandalorian Season 2. The highly acclaimed live-action Star Wars spin-off series was among the first Disney+ Originals that we launched on OSN when we acquired the exclusive rights to Disney+ Originals for the region in April this year, and it has been one of the highest watched shows in our portfolio.
