Shaun insists on trying to save a critically-injured man whose heart could be donated to Park's nine-year-old patient. Morgan looks to convince Salen that she's the right choice to take over Glassman's clinic.

Shaun and Lea happen upon a terrible car accident and discover Alma, a young pregnant mother who needs immediate medical attention. Glassman is apprehensive when a figure from his past reaches out for help.

Shaun sides with a teenager whose biohacking has threatened the use of his arm. Morgan struggles to get approval to treat a patient's depression with a radical brain surgery.

After the surgical staff is felled by mysterious hallucinations during a team potluck, Shaun and Glassman butt heads when they try to pick up the slack.

Lea calls on her experience fixing old cars to repair a patient's aging iron lung. Andrews uses his own past to help a dyslexic abuse victim, while Jordan balks at Glassman's suggestions about raising money for her new medical device.

Shaun uncovers a mistake that forces him to perform a second painful surgery on a burn victim. Park tries to help a seriously injured firefighter return to duty.

As Shaun and Lea look for a wedding theme they can agree on, the staff mobilises to perform a trio of risky operations on a ten-year-old Guatemalan boy.

Shaun and Lea make a big life decision and are pleasantly surprised by the support they receive from their friends at the hospital; Asher struggles to accept that he and his father may never truly understand one another.

Shaun and Lea's long-awaited wedding reception is interrupted by a violent attack at the hospital and the entire team must mobilize to save the victims. The trauma of seeing people he cares for in life-threatening situations is affecting Shaun in more ways than one.

On their first day as surgical attendings, Dr. Murphy and Dr. Park meet the residents they will be overseeing; Lim returns to work while facing her new reality and the emotions surrounding the changes.

The team treats a famous marriage counsellor after she injures her ankle from falling, but Reznick quickly spots that their patient might be experiencing something far more serious. Meanwhile, Lim is determined to get to the bottom of what really happened in her OR.

The team operates on a military reenactor whose attempt at authenticity has created an explosive predicament that even Dr. Shaun Murphy couldn't predict. Meanwhile, Dr. Jordan Allen and Dr. Daniel Perez are on a race against time as they search for a severed foot.

Shaun, Asher and Powell treat a young patient on Halloween with a rare hereditary disease, sending them down an uncharted path. Meanwhile, Glassman and Shaun must overcome their differences to work together to try and find a solution for Lim's paralysis.

Shaun invites Aaron to stay with him while he has exterminators at his house and Lea realises both men have a lot more in common than she realised. Meanwhile, Dr. Morgan Reznick wrestles with a big decision about her career and her personal life.

Shaun and Lea clash over their parenting styles and worry about what will happen to their relationship when their child is born. Meanwhile, Dr. Lim must find a way to save the damaged lungs that one of her long-time patients has been waiting for.
S6 E14: Hard Heart
When a 3-year-old arrives at the ER, the team immediately recognises he is having a stroke. However, Dr. Shaun Murphy's diagnosis of the underlying cause doesn't solve the problem which has Dr. Park search deeper.
S6 E15: Old Friends
Dr. Jared Kalu makes a surprise return to San Jose's St. Bonaventure Hospital with his billionaire patient. Meanwhile, Park must treat the man his wife had an affair with and try to find a way to forgive him.
S6 E16: The Good Lawyer
Dr. Shaun Murphy seeks legal representation to help him win a case and puts his faith in a promising young lawyer who has obsessive compulsive disorder.
S6 E17: Second Chances And Past Regrets
Dr. Shaun Murphy must learn how to work with Dr. Jared Kalu again and remind him that he must start all over at St. Bonaventure. Meanwhile, Dr. Murphy treats a teenager suffering from neurological problems with a very high-risk procedure.
S6 E18: A Blip
When a patient comes in with persistent and lingering COVID symptoms, the team discovers she may be dealing with something harder to treat. Andrews and Villanueva must contend with their hierarchy at the hospital and its effect on their relationship.
S6 E19: Half Measures
Drs. Andrews and Lim clash over a patient split nearly in half, which also reveals her issues with Dr. Kalu’s return. Meanwhile, Dr. Glassman gives Dr. Murphy some fatherly advice as they await news about Glassman’s recent tests.
S6 E20: Blessed
Dr. Marcus Andrews introduces some of the team to a patient whose optimism and faith seems to cause Dr. Asher Wolke the most scepticism in light of his own relationship with religion.
S6 E21: A Beautiful Day
Dr. Glassman and Dr. Murphy's relationship may be irreparably damaged following a tense moment during surgery. While Dr. Reznick struggles during her parental leave, Dr. Park may just be the one she needs the most.
S6 E22: Love's Labor
Shaun and Lea head to the delivery room and everyone from the hospital is there, except for one very important person; a tragic accident involving Drs. Perez and Kalu pulls everyone away, including Dr. Murphy.
S7 E1: Baby, Baby, Baby
Shaun and Lea adjust to parenthood as they debate the importance of schedule and routine for Steve. Meanwhile, Shaun takes on his first case back at the hospital with two baby patients in need of the same heart.
S7 E2: Skin In The Game
Shaun struggles to accommodate the newest member of his surgical team, Charlie, who interferes in a patient's relationship with his daughter. Elsewhere, Park tackles a tricky brain tumor, and Lea and Morgan adjust to motherhood.
S7 E3: Critical Support
Shaun continues to be tested by Charlie when their newest case prompts her incessant stream of questions all in pursuit of an answer.
S7 E4: Date Night
Shaun and Lea struggle to balance their parental duties with their personal lives. Meanwhile, Park and Morgan try to find the time and space to reignite their romance amidst the demands of parenthood and work, and Lim’s mother makes a surprise visit.
S7 E5: Who At Peace
Asher's views on the construct of marriage complicate his future with Jerome. Meanwhile, Asher also briefly revisits his religious past to aid a patient's conversion to Judaism for his fiancée.

The team must deal with a mass casualty event that forces them to put aside their emotions following a recent tragedy.
S7 E7: Faith
Shaun and Jordan’s patient is in dire need of a kidney transplant. When they find the perfect donor, they also discover that he believes he is Jesus which could compromise his ability to give consent to the surgery.
S7 E8: The Overview Effect
Shaun, Jared and Charlie's young patient need his parents to agree on an important medical decision that could greatly improve his health; however, his parents are unable to agree on the correct path which spurs the team to try and intervene on behalf of their patient.
