Nalan is a young, beautiful girl living with her obsessed grandmother (Feride) and kind grandfather (Adil). Sedat is a young man living under his Father Rafet strict rules.

Sedat's sister Selen doesn’t want him to marry Yasemin as she isn't suitable for their family. Sedat and Nalan meet coincidentally. Nalan and Billur talk about Nalan’s lack of love in her life and Selen overhears them.

Rafet and Adil talk about their children’s meeting. Nalan accepts the dinner offer from Sedat. Feride is getting furious when Nalan takes her full corset off.

Nalan’s excitement can be seen obviously. Rafet seems pleased with Sedat’s decision. Feride gets emotional when she sees Nalan wearing a dress that has secrets.

The two families meet at the Koroğlu Farm Hotel. Feride does not trust Sedat and his family. Sedat is disturbed by the fact that Cana - his secret affair - acts so relaxed about his upcoming marriage.

In a flash back, to Nalan’s childhood, Feride punishes her about lying and makes sure that she will be afraid of her for the futre.

Nalan’s happiness can be seen clearly as Sedat asks her to marry her. Feride watches her carefully from afar. Cana is jealous but she does not want Sedat to know this

The Koroğlu Family arrives to İpekoğlu’s house for the small engagement ceremony. After the ceremony ends, the newly engaged couple asks for Feride’s permission to go out and wander around a bit, but the infamous paparazzies of Istanbul won’t stop chasing them.

Sedat, who is worried that Nalan could tell someone about the things she saw at his house, meets with Cana to discuss what to do. Feride, who is still doubting Nalan’s word, takes her to a secret doctor’s appointment.

The news of the photographs spread in Koroğlu family, and Sedat faces Rafet as Muzo joins the family dinner. Nalan, scared she will see Sedat in her dreams again, denies to sleep and tries to stay awake in secret.

Nalan and Feride meet Gülcihan and Selen, but when Cana appears, Selen gets tense because of her. The ladies look for a perfect wedding dress.

Nalan seems to be carried away with Sedat. But her happiness lasts short. She sees the news about Sedat and Cana.The news drives also Rafet mad, In the meantime Cana is the only one who Sedat cares about.

Sedat finally gets out of his room. Gülcihan and Selen start to rage at him, Billur tries to calm Nalan down and make her call Sedat but fails.

Flashback to the day when Feride and Adil took Nalan from the hospital after Nalan’s mother’s death. Later Gülcihan invites Nalan’s family for dinner.

Nalan sees the bracelet in Cana’s wrist. Later Rafet blames Sedat for everything and yells and insults him, all the emotions from Sedat’s childhood come back to surface.

When Sedat couldn’t persuade Cana to run away with him, he gets angry as nobody treats him right.

After Sedat's accident, Nalan continues to blame herself but Muzo makes her feel better.

Feride is not happy with Nalan and Sedat being showcased on the newspapers, and forbids Nalan to see Sedat Koroğlu without her again.

Nalan gets invited by Rafet for a day out. Feride is not happy with this situation and proceeds to spy on Nalan. meanwhile the members of the Koroğlu family keep trying to find out what Rafet plans to give Nalan as a wedding gift.

Feride almost catches Nalan and Sedat together although she forbade her from seeing him alone. Rafet finds out Gülcihan and Selen’s plans to transfer the deed to themselves.

Billur decides to step in to make Nalan get closer to Sedat. Listening to her friend’s advice, Nalan accepts going out for a meal with Sedat after she gets the permission of her father, but not Feride.

Rafet suspects something is going on behind the curtains, but cannot name it, Tako’s absence slightly angers him yet the siblings manage to keep Tako’s whereabouts a secret.

Hafize blames herself as she was not able to protect Nalan. In Koroğlu Mansion, Rafet is looking for Tako furiously. Muzo saves his mother and convinces Tako to lie.

Sedat continues to see Cana and they meet for the last time to say goodbye.

Koroğlu family visits Nalan because they think that she is sick. However, Feride does not allow her to see them and She lies that Nalan is not at home.

Cana wants to meet Sedat. When they meet it seems like Sedat is no longer interested in her. Nalan admits to Feride that she is in love with Sedat. Since she has never felt something like that before, she is both confused and happy.

As the heat and tension tenses up between Cana and the Koroğlu family, Cana decides to make her move towards Nalan this time, thinking she would be able to hurt and threaten the Koroğlu family that way.

The surprise dancing rehearsal for Nalan and Sedat makes Feride angry. Later, Feride starts acting differently that leaves everyone in suspicious.

While Nalan was placing her dowry in her room at Koroğlu's house, she meets Muzo and realizes that he understands her very well. Later Cana invites herself to Nalan's Henna night.

It's the wedding day Nalan comes out of the house wearing a beautiful white dress, on Adil's arm. For the first time, she is not wearing a corset. Later Feride confronts Cana, that didn't end well.
