S1 E1: Chapter One: Make Your Mark
Barry is a disillusioned hitman from the Midwest sent to LA to execute a hit for the Chechen mob. Upon following his "mark" into an acting class taught by beloved teacher/guru Gene Cousineau, Barry is instantly drawn to the group of students, especially Sally.
S1 E2: Chapter Two: Use It
In the wake of some shocking news, Gene encourages his class to channel their feelings into their work. Resolved to quit his job and put the past behind him, Barry tries not to get pulled back in by Fuches and the Chechens. Sally tries to crack the nut that is Barry.
S1 E3: Chapter Three: Make The Unsafe Choice
A frustrated Barry misses an acting class to honour an obligation Detectives Moss and Loach try to piece together a murder puzzle. Gene presses Barry to take more risks. Sally is thrown for a loop during an audition. The Chechens rejoice when a famous assassin arrives.
S1 E4: Chapter Four: Commit... To You
Barry finds that distancing himself from Fuches and the Chechens might be harder than he thought. Sally is dismayed to learn that an audition has strings attached. Gene promises Moss a bombshell, but only over dinner. A rising actor threatens Barry's claim on Sally.
S1 E5: Chapter Five: Do Your Job
Barry looks to hit the reset button with Sally but a scene from "Macbeth" pushes them farther apart. Moss moves to interrogate members of Gene's acting class. Barry finds himself in a quandary after teaming up with a new acquaintance to wipe out a group of Bolivians.
S1 E6: Chapter Six: Listen With Your Ears, React With...
Barry tries to fly solo at a remote airstrip, but Taylor still wants in. Vacha looks to exact revenge on the man who killed his brother. Moss tries to end her association with Gene, but finds herself drawn to his classroom at a critical juncture.
S1 E7: Chapter Seven: Loud, Fast, And Keep Going
After a shootout at the airstrip, Barry must make a difficult decision to evade capture. Pazar blames Fuches for convincing him to declare war on a Bolivian drug lord. Sally fears her performance in Macbeth will be compromised and ruin her chance with a Hollywood agent.
S1 E8: Chapter Eight: Know Your Truth
Barry vows to give up his life of crime, once and for all. Pazar enlists Vacha's replacement to take care of Fuches. Elsewhere, Moss and her team close in on a major arrest with hopes of finally cracking the Madison case.
S2 E1: The Show Must Go On, Probably?
Barry tries to convince Sally and the class to go ahead with a performance despite the absence of Cousineau, who's grief-stricken after the disappearance of Detective Moss. With Goran gone, NoHo Hank and Cristobal's new partnership faces growing pains and jealousies.
S2 E2: The Power Of No
Facing pressure from Noho Hank, Barry struggles to pull off an important hit. After asking the class to mine their personal traumas, Gene decides to confront his own past. A visit to her agents leaves Sally disappointed. Fuches tries to evade questions in Cleveland.
S2 E3: Past = Present X Future Over Yesterday
As part of a class project, Gene tasks Barry with revisiting his past, and Sally reflects on her own personal history. Barry offers to provide training to NoHo Hank's men. Fuches finds Barry in an unexpected location.
S2 E4: What?!
Barry's patience is put to the test when a figure from Sally's past arrives in LA. Gene gets a pleasant surprise and encourages Barry to believe that change is possible.
S2 E5: Ronny/Lily
An encounter that Barry never could have predicted has surprising effects.
S2 E6: The Truth Has A Ring To It
Barry works with Gene to get into character; Sally embraces her truth; Fuches goes on a mission.
S2 E7: The Audition
